Description:
This Buffalo takes about the same amount of floor space as an 6X8 rug. The buff was about 4 years old when he died which means that his hide is still soft and pliable. It was tanned by a professional tanner and the fur is thick as he was harvested in late January. The skin has never been used as a rug and laid out, untouched as people could see but not touch the fur or the hide. There are a few spots where you can see on the underside of the hide where the hide has split. I would offer the suggestion to sew the hide to a backing of some sort to increase its longevity.
