Small Early 20th Century Conceal & Carry Revolver
Here we present a Harrington & Richardson Auto Ejecting Double Action Top Break Revolver, made circa 1911 Worcester, Massachusetts. This company was formed in 1875 by Gilbert Harrington, nephew and former business partner of Frank Wesson, and William Richardson, former employee of Wesson’s. This revolver was designed to be small and concealable for self-defense. It is chambered for 6 shots of .32 S&W, making it a small, concealable and effective self-defense revolver.
This revolver operates in both double and single action. The firing pin is hammer mounted. The top of the barrel reads “HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON WORCESTER MASS USA” followed by 1889 and 1895 patent dates. The left side of the barrel is marked “AUTO EJECTING .32 S&W CTGE”. The grips bear the H&R logo of a target with bullet holes in it.
The overall condition is near fine. The blue finish is 85%. The markings are clear. The grips are solid and in good condition. The bore is strong. The action is excellent.
