C&R Harrington & Richardson HAMMERLESS Revolver
Small Early 20th Century Conceal & Carry Revolver
Here we present a Harrington & Richardson Hammerless Double Action Top Break Revolver, made circa 1911 Worcester, Massachusetts. This company was formed in 1875 by Gilbert Harrington, nephew and former business partner of Frank Wesson, and William Richardson, former employee of Wesson’s. This hammerless revolver was designed to be small and concealable for self-defense. It is chambered for 5 shots of .32 S&W, making it a small, concealable and effective self-defense revolver.
The top of the barrel reads “HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON ARMS COMPANY WORCESTER MASS USA” followed by an 1895 patent date. The left side of the barrel is marked “.32 S&W CTGE”. The grips bear the H&R logo of a target with bullet holes in it.
The overall condition is very fine. The blue finish is about 98%. The markings are clear. The grips are solid and in fine condition. The bore is sharp and clean. The action is excellent. Here is a very nice early 20th Century revolver!
