Bird hunter model w/ coin finished sliding breech action having tasteful floral & scroll engraving. Retains 98% blue barrels. Action has good coin finish with some scattered spots of freckling. Very good bright bores. Light and quick to point, the action is crisp and tight. Extractors only remove the fired shell allowing single shell reloading. This design allows the spent shells to fall at your feet while allowing an extremely quick reload once you get used to the sliding action. Matching serial numbers appear under the action handle, on the underside of the sliding breech, on the trigger guard, under the barrels, and on the action.
Walnut forearm and round knob stock of fine thin shell walnut with hand checkering & factory sling swivels; front swivel is mounted to bottom of rib. LOP: 14 5/8" over original buttplate. Good original stock finish showing a few light marks.
