ABSOLUTELY UNIQUE & EXQUISITE
Here we present an antique Smith & Wesson .38 S&W Double Action Revolver, made circa 1890 in Springfield, Massachusetts. This revolver holds 5 shots of .38 S&W. It was designed to be self-defense tool and was very popular in its day.
The overall condition is near excellent. The original blued finish is virtually complete. Vivid case colors remain. The markings are clear and legible. The grips are fine. The bore is shiny and has strong rifling. The action is excellent in double action, though single action is intermittent. Here is a beautiful piece of Smith & Wesson’s history!
