A very good looking, original Philadelphia Deringer with a 2 7/16 inch barrel and standard configuration. It remains in excellent, original condition, with the barrel turning a gey/brown patina and the wood retaining most of its varnish, and excellent german silver eschutions with very nicely done engraving. Notice the checkering on the grip, the sharp manufacture stampings on the barrel, and the proffesionally engraved hammer, barrel, and lock. A very nice antique pistol, manufactured about the 1850's.
