This Winchester was produced in 1956. This is a second year production rifle as this model was introduced in 1955. The rifle's serial number is 21971. This rifle shows field use and wear. There is scratches and dents on the stock. There is no chips or cracks however. The original sights are intact. The original bluing would rate a 97% condition. The action works smoothly. This rifle has seen use but no abuse. This firearm comes with three original spare magazines.This is a nice early Winchester in the popular 308 Winchester chambering.
