Description:
Remington's "New Repeating Pistol" made c. 1863 - 1888 in 32 caliber. Total quantity estimated at 25,000 in 22 and 32 rim fire calibers. About 75% were 32 RF. This gun has a serial number of 24xxx so it would be a late gun. Bores are very good with the minimum of very light pits and strong rifling. Most of the nickel remains and it has the original wood grips.The box appears to be very old and is French fitted for the gun and 4 cartridges. The 32 rim fire cartidges are for illustration only and do not go with the gun,
