Roaring Twenties-era 5-Shot Revolver
Here we present a U.S. Revolver Company Hammerless .32 S&W Revolver, made circa 1920 by Iver Johnson. This double action revolver was designed after Smith & Wesson top-break revolvers that preceded it. With 5 shots and modest size, it would have been handy for concealed carry protection during a time in which gangsters and robbers were national celebrities.
The overall condition is very fine. The original nickel finish is virtually complete, as is the blue finish on the trigger guard. The case colors on the barrel latch and the trigger are vibrant. The markings are clear and legible. The hard rubber grips are in fine shape. The bore is sharp and clean. The action is excellent. Here is a brilliant little hammerless snubbie!
