Description:
(SOLD - pending arrangements and final examination) - This is my honest 1977 36mm Datejust Rolex with "quickset" date feature and silky 14K gold and stainless Jubilee bracelet.  The bracelet has the "Big Gold Crown" compared to the simple stamped stainless clasp. A bit of a rarity and value in istelf. I have all the boxes and papers, it is a 5.3M serial and I'm the second owner.  It is in "as worn" condition, I have not yet sent it out to the Jewler for cleaning or polishing, a more true representation. The 40 yr. old bracelet is nicely worn in and silky smooth. I count (18) links and have two more in the box original to the timepiece.  Off the winder it runs about 1 minute slow per 24 hr. period, withing typical good working specificaitons. I have not worn it too often, usually for events or times I felt a bit down. It will clean up magnificently, a very fine timepiece and investment.  I cannot imagine a more comfortable band, never a pinch or hair pull, warm and inviting.  Comparable pieces in stores priced $1000 more. There is some profit left in this one, I'm not greedy just want fair value.  I bought a vintage BMW motorcycle and promised my wife I'd sacrifice the watch.  Free insured shipping, satisfaction insured. $2650.00
