Japanese (Tokyo Arsenal), double action revolver, Model Type 26, 9mm Japanese caliber, s/n 24XXX (Mfg. 1893-1924), 4.75" barrel, MINT BORE, blueing shows its age, but still in very good condition, checkered wood grips, AN EXCELLENT EXAMPLE OF JAPAN'S FIRST MILITARY REVOLVER.
This type 26 pistol is in very good condition. This pistol would rate a 90% condition. The bore is bright and free of rust or pitting. The grips are in very good condition showing very little wear. This pistol has not been restored or refinished. The pistol's side plate hinges out to make it easy to clean and service the pistol. This pistol is in great condition and would appeal to any military collector.
