The Browning Medalist was definitely ahead of the curve when introduced into the .22lr target pistol market in 1962. It came in 3 styles, this particular pistol is the "Standard" and in comparison to other .22lr target pistols of the time, it was anything but. It comes in a red velvet lined box, with 3 fore-end weights, a shell holder, and it's own tools. The walnut wrap-around thumb-rest target grips and fore-end are in nearly immaculate shape. The bluing shows no abuse, and little to no wearing what-so-ever. This pistol should be in the posession of someone who will take it out on the weekends and shoot it the way it was meant to be shot.
