The SIG SAUER 1911 pistols only contain precisely machined internal parts, such as the match grade barrel, hammer/sear set and trigger. Their all stainless steel frame and slide of the 1911 handguns are machined to specific tolerances and to insure reliability and performance, they are hand fitted. SIG SAUER introduced clean and distinct lines that the American shooters have embraced, while retaining the crisp pull of the trigger, classic ergonomics, and the exceptional accuracy they expect. The slide of the 1911 POW MIA Black model from SIG SAUER is engraved with barbed wire and there are dog tags and an American flag engraved with a inscription on the top of the slide. The grips are custom made by Hogue and they display the POW MIA seal.
