#4068 Sharps New Model 1859 Carbine Conversion
This is a New Model 1859 Carbine Conversion to 50-70 centerfire. It is serial number 52991 and has a bright and shiny 3-groove bore barrel with strong rifling. I don’t find any stock inspector cartouches but has a guy named McGuffey Cincinnati, Ohio on the inside of the patch box. The blue and case colors are dark blue plum color. The markings are very good.
