Description:
This 700 is an example of one of Remingtons more rare chamberings. The .17 Remington cartridge is a .223 necked down to .172 with the shoulder recessed. This round in a 30gr format is capable of 3,800+fps and in a 20gr format, 4,400+fps. It was originally designed for varmint hunting, however, in a low wind environment this would be an excellent target rifle due to its incredibly flat shooting capability.
