Description:
Very Scarce and Rare Model 70 Featherweight with Aluminum Buttplate in 270 Caliber. I have seen several of these in collections but none for sale in at least 10-12 years. These are as rare in my estimation as the 358 Featherweights. Metal retains 96-97% Original Blue with minor muzzle wear, bolt handle wear, slight edge wear on floorplate and a spot on the top of the black end of Aluminum buttplate just above top screw. There are scope mounts that I am leaving on the gun with no extra holes. Wood is near perfect with a small compression ding in the right pistol grip checkering and a slight scratch barely visable on the left side an inch from the buttplate. The Sling is Original and the bore is Mint. The gun was hunted for one season according to the Original Owner. A real tough one to find. FFL or C& R required for shipping. Thanks for Looking.
