Description:
Winchester Model 70 Featherweight in 308 Caliber. Serial # 564xxx ( 1962 Vintage ). This gun came out of the same colection that the 270 Aluminum Butt I have advertised. This one was just sighted in and never hunted according to the Original Owner and looking at it, I do believe him. Metal is 99% Original Finish with just the slightest muzzle wear on the left side of barrel with 98% Original Blue on the bolt handle. Very slight edge wear on the buttplate which is normal from just handling. Wood is 99%+ with a couple of miniscule handling marks. The worst one being ahead of the front swivel. Hardly noticeable. The Bore is Mint. Leaving the scope mounts on. No extra holes under it. Original Sling Swivel. A Great Model 70 Featherweight. Very Collectible. Priced to sell according to the other Pre 64 Featherweights advertised. FFL or C&R Required. Thanks for Looking.
