Pocket Watch Here we present an antique Cased Set of an Engraved, Ivory Handled European Pinfire Revolver, Carved Ivory Handled Dagger, and Excellent American Watch Co. Pocket Watch. The pinfire revolver was made circa 1860. It is very nicely engraved and inlaid with gold. The grips are antique ivory and are original to the gun. The trigger folds for stowing in a pocket. This would have been a very nice little pocket revolver for self-defense. The dagger has a blade length of 3-5/8 inches, and the handle is carved ivory. The carving is well-done and features a royal crown on each side. The leather sheath is in very nice condition with a silver throat. It is not marked, but very European, like the revolver. The watch was made in 1870 in Waltham, Massachusetts, by American Watch Co. This is considered America’s first successful watch company. This watch is marked “AMERICAN WATCH CO.” on the face, “WARRANTED/COIN SILVER” on the inside of the front cover. The movement is signed “P.S. BARTLETT” and is also marked “WALTHAM, MASS.” and “Fogg’s Patent”. The case is from the period of the other items and is red felt lined. The pocket watch is in working condition, and includes the chain and winding key. The overall condition of the revolver is very fine. The engraving is very nice and clear. The ivory grips are solid and smooth. The bore is well-rifled and clean. The action is excellent. Here is an excellent and unique set from the 1870s! Own the original! This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction. Barrel is 2-3/4 inches. Caliber: 7.65mm Pinfire Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE.
