SOLD Pending Funds / Japanese Naval Type 90 Double Barrel Flare Pistol, this is an late war gun serial # 0053. These pistols were made from the early 1930s through the end of WWII, there were approximately 10,300 of this model made. (Note: The Japanese Double Barrel Flare Guns started at serial number 1 and went to 9,999 at 10.000 they did not show the one (1) in the serial number). The frame is stamped with assembly number 296 on the underside of the barrel channel, ejector, barrel opening lever and on the cocking lever. The two selectable barrels are in cal. 28 mm and they break open like the standard double barrel shotgun. This pistol retains most of its original blue finish, grips are original and in very good condition. The overall condition as photographed and described is very good - very good plus. Inv. : # J 3060
