Description:
Very Nice Remington Model 1894 Grade BE Hammerless Double in 12 Ga. Serial # 132xxx. Metal retains 60-65% Original Case Colors ( See Photos ). Barrels retain 90% Damascus Pattern, 27" Long with Excellent Bores. Chambers are 2 & 3/4" which we feel have been let out. Chokes are Improved Cylinder and Modified. Does not appear the barrels have been cut. Remington represents barrel lengths between 26 & 32" in their advertising. B Quality Wood retains 85% Original Finish with Sharp Checking. Some minor handling marks with a couple of deeper mars on the right side of Pistol Grip ahead of the checkering. A couple of chips in the front forend just below the barrels on the left side. Gun has a vintage hard rubber or leather covered remnant of what we feel was an original pad. Pull is 14 & 1/4" to the center of the outer covering that is left. Most likely a vintage shooter with the let out chambers and fairly open chokes. Auto Ejectors work well and gun shoots great. Selling as Antique, no papers required to purchase. Thanks for looking.
