KRIEGHOFF M98 BOLT ACTION SPORTER RIFLE From the collection of a retired Insurance and Oilman we are offering this extremely well executed Krieghoff custom 98 Mauser small ring bolt action rifle. It is chambered for 7 x 57mm. the rifle bears no serial. The 23-inch barrel is marked "HEINRICH KRIEGHOFF, SUHL, GERMANY". This small ring 98 action features tastefully understated borderline engraving. Left side of receiver marked St,M.G. over 10 gr, further south it is marked "Rw E.". front sight brass bead, mounted on ramp with cross hatch for anti-glare, with folding leaf express rear sight. 4x Oigee, Berlin scope with post reticle in See Thru claw mounts. Scope is extremely clear edge to edge. Double set triggers with a very light release. Schnable tip cheekpiece sporter stock with checkered rnd. knob grip & in-letted steel butt plate. 3/4" Leather sling mount at butt, front swivel is bbl. mounted. CONDITION: 70% dulled blue with an area of wear around bbl. marking. Stock has great finish with a few handling marks or safe kisses. No chips or cracks. Good bright bore.
