Nice, O.W. Ainsworth inspected, U.S. Colt single action revolver from 1874. This gun still has all of it's original parts! Very rare for a gun 140 + years old, including the exceptional, original, O.W.A. inspected grips! (See Kopec letter for details of this revolver). The gun has been commercially period, nickel plated, has excellent mechanics, nice screws, and the bore would rate very good to excellent. All matching serial #'s, including the barrel and cylinder. Nice, dark patina where the nickel is missing, never cleaned, or polished. Priced way below market value for an all original parts Ainsworth inspected revolver!! Please ask questions if desired.
