Description:
8mm Mauser; 80% blue, good bore, good stock, 23.5'' barrel, Built on a Yugoslavian produced M48 or 48A Mauser rifle. Original blue finish. Matching stock and floorplate (two cancelled numbers with the matching number added). The bolt does not match, the top of the turned down handle and portion of the knob have been ground/filed some to provide scope clearance, this not done recently. With cleaning rod and sling with an oiler with leather pouch attached. Original scope bases with new mounts and rings and a Redfield 2-7X scope mounted. The scope has a european pointer/crosshair reticle with excellent optics. These rifles were normally fitted with the ZRAk scopes in Yudoslavia. Older CAI import, marked on the end of the barrel. Mechanically fine. The bore has strong rifling with a tight muzzle. Showing some corrosion along the grooves.
