Another fine “ESTATE” firearm offered by Dust 2 Dollars. We offer you an Extremely rare Weatherby Custom 1903 Springfield in 300 Weatherby Magnum by J.D. Bates (John Bates). Very few Weatherby customs were built on the 1903 Springfield action and few were purpose built for iron sights regardless of the action used. This sits in a gorgeous Bates mesquite stock with low comb for peep sight alignment. Custom large coverage checkering panels with the Bates elongated flared grip cap with diamond inlay and a maple spacer along with a Weatherby South Gate recoil pad. Metal and bluing in excellent condition as you can see. It wears a 24” barrel with an excellent bore with a Redfield banded front ramp, Redfield 102 peep sight and a folding barrel sight. $2,995 plus $70 shipping to your FFL. 3% convenience fee added to the total for CC payments.
