The Colt Woodsman 1st Series Match Target was made from 1938 to 1944 with approximately 16,000 manufactured. The commonly called "Bullseye" Match Target semi automatic pistols were fitted with a 6 5/8 inch heavy barrel, adjustable rear sight, double pinned patridge front sight, checkered walnut one-piece (Elephant Ear) grips, provided with (1) 10-round magazine, and were chambered in .22 LR. This 1940 vintage Colt pistol is as described and is in near new condition, retaining 99% of its original blue finish, with only minor thinning at the muzzle and on a portion of the bottom of the barrel. The bore is bright and the action function perfectly. The sights are are clean and all screw heads are un-molested. The grips are like new with only a few very minor handling marks. The gun has been fired, but very little from its appearance. Comes with its original numbered to the gun box and cleaning rod/brush.
