For sale, a Colt Series 80 Gold Cup National Match Enhanced 1911 complete with the original plastic box, cardboard box sleeve, extra magazine, and manuals. The Gold Cup National Match Enhanced line of Colt 1911s were the very best variation of this iconic model that Colt built. They were built to be extremely accurate with all of the best parts available and hand tuned to be reliable. If you wanted to buy a 1911 model to shoot competively, this Colt was ready to go right out of the box with no modifications needed. It featured a "match" quality barrel, adjustable trigger, and adjustable target style sights, all hand-fit right from the factory. This Colt is in excellent all-original condition. The stainless steel finish looks great on this gun with only a few very small handling marks visible under close examination. The bore is in excellent shape. It is bright with no pitting or erosion, and perfect sharp lands and grooves in the rifling. This Gold Cup has been shot very little and has probably spent the vast majority of it's life in storage. This Series 80 Gold Cup National Match Colt 1911 would be a great addition to any Colt collection as an investment or a top-of-the-line target pistol.
