Description:
BACK ON THE MARKET!
DELUXE WOOD STOCK! Here is a very, very nice Ferlach over/under combo gun with a 20 gauge top barrel with 76 mm chambers (3-inch) and a .222 Rem bottom barrel. Upgraded wood and high gloss blued metal are in excellent condition with scattered light marks. It has highly figured European walnut in the butt stock, much nicer than any I have ever seen on a Flaig's Ace O/U combination gun, and it sports a comfortable rubber butt pad with a  length of pull at about 14 inches to the single trigger.  Has a Monte Carlo cheekpiece. The barrel measures 23.5 inches. This Austrian Gun-Guild town gun, which was imported by Flaig's out of Millvale, PA, I believe, has been equipped with a basic scope but the factory rear and front sight are still in place. The action opens when the lever is pushed to the right. Pushing the lever to the left cocks the piece and there is a cocking indicator you can run your finger over to tell you the firearm is cocked. I fired it and it shoots each barrel as intended.  There is a barrel selector on the left rear of the receiver (see pics) .  Matching one piece checkered forend has unique push-button plunger release latch built into bottom barrel hanger, which is also fitted with a sling loop. Once cocked the action cannot be opened without de-cocking or firing. Drop at heel: Approx 2-1/2″, drop at comb: Approx 1-1/2″. Weight: 6 lbs. 14 oz. without scope. It weighs about 7-3/4 pounds with scope (see photo of scale).  Bottom of rear mono-bloc is stamped with SN, and  what I beliieve are 1966 Ferlach proofs.
