Description:
.36 cal, NVSN, 42 3/4 inch octagon barrel, brass butt plate/ trigger guard/patch box/nose cap/ramrod thimbles.
Patch box is classic "Ghost" design found on Leman trade rifles, front 2 ramrod thinbles have classic ribbed design found on trade guns by various makers.
Condition: barrel shows uniform dark brown patina, lock shows considerable pitting and is stamped "Conastoga Rifle Works", bore shows distinct rifling with scattered oxidation, stock has untouched frontier patina with with areas of erosion in front of drum and on the right side of barrel tang, brass components show a heavy untouched patina, mechanically very good.
