Description:
This revolver  designed  by M North  in 1858  in Conecticut is of a unique configeration. The action is sharp and crisp and tight. The ring trigger operates the forward  motion of the cylinder againts  the gas seal.  No wobble in cyclinder. You can see by photos the nipple s  are sharp as are the edges of the 7 1/8 inch barrel . The front sight has not been messed with still sharp an pointy. The blued finish is pluming with approximatly 60% throughout does show 160 years of  exposure to the ellement with some spotted freckling. this is  a six shot. Ignition  Cap s load from the top . The load lever operates  flawlesly  an is plumed in color. Upon inspection of the bore it has sharp rifling  is bright and shiny . there are no rings inside no black powder etch the bore is just beautiful . I believe this  revolver has not seen a lot of actual firing  as evidence by the superb over all  condition. the grips show normal color of the walnut  Its my understanding according to Flaydermans  antique guide that approximately  20,000 produced for total production . This  is one of the finest I have ever owned . in my humble opinion  this has not been cleaned or altered  the screws look great  not all musceled out  the grips  show normal  nicks and wear . Wood to metal fit is excellent  with no  cracks chips or large hunks missing .this  magnificent  peice of history weighs in at just under 3.5 pound. the serial number is 88xx ca 1864 I would rate this NRA grade Fine +++ many of these saw hard use
?this one is exceptionally  very nice. all markings   sharp an readable as well as barrel address and  many proof marks.
?my motto is.... its not what you pay its what you get ........ I ship to the world  shipping  an insurance $60.00 i accept international wire transferr
