Description:
This rifle was made one year after the introduction after the .33WCF cartridge and clearly has it's original barrel. These rifles were incredibly well made and were capable of being chambered in .45-70, .45-90 and even the .50-110 Express buffalo cartridge. This would be a fantastic display piece, but is still, definitely, in fireable condition.

Metal Condition: Lacking most of the bluing on the receiver, some assorted scratches and spots of patina. No visible rust.
Wood Condition: All around, good. Small dings and dents, no cracks, with a light sheen of the original finish present.
Bore Condition: In good order, must have been well maintained, no visible pitting or damage. Fireable condition.
Barrels: 23 1/2 inch barrel, bluing in decent condition.
Triggers: Functioning with reasonably light trigger pull and mild patina.
Stock: Original walnut stock with original buttplate and grip cap, and checkered grip. In decent condition, dings, and dents but nothing structurally compromising.

Fore End: Matching walnut with checkering.
Butt Pad: Original "Winchester Repeating Arms Co." butt plate.

Sights: Graduated rear sight, and solid front post.
