This is a custom built 300 WBY Super Mountaineer rifle. Built on a Rem 700 action. Very high quality. Weight is 5 pounds w/o scope. 6 pounds 3 ounces with scope. It does have a muzzle brake. If you google Mountain Rife Inc. You can get more information. They were built in Palmer AK. They were the pioneers in the lite weight back pack rifles. The scope is a Swarovski 4-12x50 A Habicht and is included. I have the original brochure, business card. target and load info. I am getting oider and i am giving up back pack hunting. I still love to climb and hike in the mountains but i am no longer willing or able to pack out heavy loads of meat.
