Like New Condition AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASWE AT OUR ON-LINE STORE This is a custom Remington 722 with the original 26-inch factory barrel. It is chambered for the .222 Remington. The stock was built using nice quarter sawn English Walnut. The stock styling is mildly British with a long open grip. This stock will appeal to purists as it intentionally lacks any unnecessary features, contour lines, or other embellishments. The stock has a Biesen steel buttplate and a Jerry Fisher grip cap. A "Rifle Basix" trigger has been installed along with a Gentry 3-position Model 70 style safety. The stamped factory trigger guard/floor plate has been replaced with a Williams steel trigger guard/floor plate assembly with a floor plate releasein the trigger bow. The Talley scope bases and rings were hand polished and color case hardened by Turnbull. The bolt sleeve/safety, and the Fisher grip cap were also case colored by Turnbull. The barrel, receiver, and the bottom metal were hand polished and slow rust blued. An RCBS Competition die set and Sling are included.
