Once again from our self-confessed gun hoarder please find this unfired SAKO L579 Forester in .243 Winchester caliber. Imported during the Garcia Corp Washington DC era this rifle bears serial # 308734 and has a 23-inch barrel. Metal is 99.99% wood has one small likely factory supplied blemish in the clear coat just under the receivers’ ejection area. Trigger is light and crisp as almost every single SAKO has been. These are super quality rifles in every conceivable way. Stock has a nice rich red color and cheekpiece and sling attachment points. Excellent checkering in the fore end and pistol grip. No scope mounts, box or papers but what a nice rifle for the whitetail hunter on your Christmas List.
