National Postal Meter M1 Carbine WWII issue. The serial number of this example is 19378XX placing date of manufacture in July 1943. The Barrel is correct and original to this Carbine with a barrel date of 8/43. The finish is 98% with a perfect bore. Have not disassembled this Carbine, I do not know if all the small parts are correct? As with the other Carbines listed this Carbine was purchased from the DCM in the 1980"s . Owner has passed and Family is selling off his collection something we all get to look forward to! DCM Paperwork and box are long gone.
