.30 U.S.G. (30-06) caliber, 24" barrel marked "NEWTON CO. INC. /BUFFALO N.Y. / .30 U.S.G." . Double square bridge action (Newton improvement) and double set triggers. Checkered walnut stock with schnauable forend and checkered blue steel buttplate. Bolt peep sight and windage adjustable dovetail front. In beautiful original condition retaining nearly all of the blue, excellent wood and checkering Mint bore.
