Savage Model 1920 250-3000 Reduced
Sister to the Savage 1920 Model in 300 Savage that we have posted. Please find this rarer offering in desirable 250-3000 caliber. This 1920 Model bears serial # 4988. The rifle has a 22 inch barrel with small brass bead atop the fore end, the rear sight is a stamped steel with sliding elevation blade. The bore is bright and clean no defects noted. Over all metal surface retains 80% maybe more of original bluing that is turning to a soft patina. Wood stock has been lightly sanded of its original finish but retains the original steel butt plate. Rifle also has a sling swivel in the butt stock and via a barrel band cleverly through the forend. C&R Eligible.
