SOLD A fine and rarely seen in high condition, Stevens Favorite Single Shot 25 RF. Octagon barrel with excellent original factory blue, mint perfect bore, original sights and great stocks. Original bright blue on the hammer and breech block. Original high polish blue on the screw heads. Trigger has all original blue also. Stocks are nice with original varnish and original butt plate. Quite a bit of the original blue also on the lever. Locks up tight as new. The only apology on the rifle is a small hairline crack in the butt stock on the lower tang, a fresh crack that has never been repaired. Almost all of the original bright blue on the 24 inch octagon barrel. Crisp original barrel and action markings and proofs. Screws all have bright blue and look like none were ever even turned, except the butt screws have a rusted surface. A nice little gem of a Stevens Favorite. Shipped from FFL to FFL or C&R.
