Description:
Standard 20 inch carbine configuration in desirable 44 WCF. Sights include flip up ladder rear sight and typical barley corn front sight. Wood shows some use but is sound and solid with a coat of varnish added long ago. Correct carbine style butt. Crisp tight action. Correct saddle ring. Metal is a plum/brown color. Bore is fairly bright with sharp rifling. A small bulge about 2" from the muzzle but still should make a good shooter. This gun comes complete with correct import papers from the Republic of Chile. A good representative example of the gun that won the west.
