Description:
This is a Marlin Model 93 (1893) saddle ring carbine, 20" barrel in 32-40. It was restored by Doug Turnbull quite a bit ago which included rust bluing the barrel, mag tube and small parts. The receiver and buttplate were also color case hardened by Turnbull and they turned out FANTASTIC. The bore is mint looking and all the markings are sharp and deep. The wood was not done by them and has a couple little dents (which could be steamed out if you refresh the wood). The front sight is the original brass pinned blade and the rear is an older (was NIP) Marbles Sporting Leaf folding sight that, when folded, does no harm to the bluing on the barrel. I placed leather around the ring to protect from scratching the CCH. The action is great and functions beautifully. I will need a copy of FFL or C&R license to send.
