For your consideration is a handsome vintage BLACK SHEEP BRAND leather saddle scabbard made in early years of the 20th century.
This scabbard was made to attach to a saddle and accommodate a SADDLE RING CARBINE ( SRC ) rifle, such as a Winchester Model
94/1894 SRC rifle.
It is reddish-brown in colour and the attachment straps and buckles are in good condition.
This handsome old scabbard would make a fine addition to any SRC rifle whether attached to a saddle or hung on a wall for display.
