Description:
This is one of the most collected names in Civil War, the quality nearly unmatched, using Solingen blades ornately acid etched with patriotic mottos '' STAND BY THE UINON'' on this one with flags ,the hat of liberty on both sides, and one side with the UNITED STATES EAGLE. The company used only the highest quality parts, the quality of the shark skin on the handle and the silver wire wrap is unmatched and in above good condition still. The scabbard has a beautiful brown patina, and the two ornate copper hangers have cantos leaves on both. The scabbard has some dents on the drag that effect nothing. This sword was collected in the 1960's so an early piece in good condition, hard to find now a-days. call 859-533-5445
