William Malcolm replica by leatherwood. This is the long six power for sharps, rolling block , etc. comes with mounting base for uberti, pedersoli replicas and a heavy duty base for H&R buffalo classic.
High front mount and low front mount, 5" and 7" extension tubes and the fine adjustment attachment.
Nothing wrong with this scope, glass is clear and scope in excellent shape. There is some scarring on the elevation adjustment knob because I used pliers to loosen it. Doesn't hurt anything just looks like an idiot used pliers.
i remember that commanchero shooting at Gus McRae with one mounted on a sharps and I thought it looked cool. Of course , Gus nailed that sucker with his 1866 Winchester and that was real cool.
What I should have bought is the 18" Malcolm. So I could mount it on my '73 Winchester and my Taylors armi sports sharps( which required different dovetails ) but when I started with these black powder cartridge rifles I didn't know much. I'm going to sell this one and all the extra stuff I hav to buy for what a new on costs at midway which is $355 plus shipping or I'd take a trade for one
