Winchester Model 88 .308 made in 1957
Offering this Winchester Model 88 in .308 Winchester. The rifle bears serial # 45381 and sports a 20-inch barrel. Rifle has a weaver style scope base installed. The rear sight is replaced by a Marbles plug the fore sight is missing the hood. The bore is excellent, the bluing is 96% or better with a few light scratches from use. There is some thinning on the lever and the bottom of the detachable magazine. The stock has been refinished and poly coated and a recoil pad has been added. LOP is 13 3/8 inches. Rifle is equipped with sling loops. Please note lack of wear on the internals of this rifle. Perfect to shoot as is or maybe a nice winter refresh the stock to a more original appearance with a bit of TLC.
