Description:
20 gauge, 28″ Chromox Fluid Steel barrels, 2 1/2″ chambers. Chokes measure .015 RT and .031 LT. Full length matted rib with a single silver bead. Bores are bright and shiny. Double triggers, automatic ejectors, automatic safety. Capped pistol grip buttstock, checkered in two point pattern with a 14 1/8” length of pull over a serrated hard rubber butt plate. Splinter forearm checkered in two point pattern. Action is engraved in late “A” style with approx 60% coverage large scrolling shaded acanthus. “ANSLEY H. FOX” is in band on each side. Condition: Barrels retain 95% bluing with various light handling marks throughout. Frame retains 60% original color. Floorplate retains 30% original color. Trigger guard retains 50% original bluing. Forearm iron retains original color on the inside only. Buttstock and forend have had varnish added with a few light handling marks. Drop at comb: 1 5/8”, Drop at heel: 2 7/8”, Weight: 6.0 lbs. Mechanics are good. Made in Philadelphia, PA.
