This Winchester was produced in 1959 before the first listing of the 22 Magnum in 1960. The rifle's serial number is 295599. This is a groove top receiver for the clamp on scope. The action works smoothly. The bore is bright and sharp. There is no issues with the stock and pump handle. The wood retains almost all of the original finish. The receiver retains 95% of it's original bluing. Most of the loss is on the high points. The barrel retains 97% of the original bluing. The front and rear sight are original to this rifle. This is a highly sought for 22 Magnum. Being a early production pre listing rifle is a real plus for the collector. I have several boxes of 22 Magnum ammunition that can be purchased with this gun.
