Description:
This Field Grade 00 L.C. Smith Hunter Arms 12 ga. double, has been fully reconditioned. Internal lock parts have been polished and work properly. It has been extensively hand engraved in a custom design. Original stock and fore end have been acetone soaked for oil removal, checkered, chased and pointed to better than original, then given a hand rubbed 21-coat finish, bedded with Acraglas® . Butt stock sports an S.W. Silvers & Co. recoil pad (14.875” LOP). 30” (IM/IM - .028/.028) barrels have been honed, polished and rust blued, new ivory bead sights installed.
No expense has been spared in upgrading this iconic American double. Truly a one-of-a-kind sporting arm.
