This set consists of 4 Colt 1911 .45 Automatic's that commemorate four famous battles of WWI; Chateau Thierry, Belleau Wood, The Marne, and Meuse Argonne. This set was produced over three years; 1967, 1968 and 1969. Distributors were given the opportunity to purchase the same serial number for each issue. Many times these sets were broken up, but this set is intact with all four pistols having the same serial number. This set is the most compolete we have ever seen. It comes with all the cardboard boxes, presentation cases, owners manuals, and even hangers to mount the presentation cases to the wall for display. The pistols and accessories are in perfect/as new condition. We were the first to take the presentation cases out of their boxes and display the pistols in them. There were only 7,500 of these sets produced and there are not many in better condition than these.
