Armas Garbi builds a traditional English style gun based on the Holland & Holland type sidelock action. These guns feature chopper lump barrels, automatic ejectors, 5-pin side-locks and articulated front triggers as standard equipment. Considered the best of the Spanish BEST gunmakers, the Garbi is an incredible value for a BEST gun in every way, with hand engraved actions, hand checkered stocks fitted to perfection, and highly polished internal parts. This particular Garbi is considered a Model 103-A Special, as it has many factory-ordered extra-cost features that really make this a special gun. William Larkin Moore is the North American supplier for Armas Garbi and if you go to their to price this gun out with all of the extra-order features the cost would exceed $23,000 new. This gun is as new without a flaw and can be bought for a fraction of that cost. Extra-order features include: deluxe ornamental engraving, upgraded wood, 29” barrels, rounded action, heel and toe plates, gold stock shield, rolled edge trigger guard, file cut rib, and low-profile safety. Look at the photos carefully…the gun is perfect in every way with little use since its build date in 2005. The wood is off-the-charts Turkish walnut with dimensions of 14 7/8” x 2 ¼” x 1 ½” x 5/16” cast off, the full coverage hand cut engraving is superb, the 29” chopper lump barrels are choked IC/M, the gun balances perfectly in hand, and the mechanics are perfect in every way.
