Up for sale today is a US Springfield M1903 serial no. 1269006 (1926 production) chambered in caliber .30-06. This outstanding example of a Springfield M1903 has a barrel date of “SA 10-42,” a mint bore, outstanding finish on both metal and wood parts. The rifle shows a lovely early finger-groove stock, an early variant of the rear sight, and comes with a very fine USGI M1905 leather sling. An outstanding addition to the discerning shooter’s collection.
