The receiver is stamped with the 135 Mauser proofmark, as well as the Eagle and Swastika acceptance mark. The serial is a 4 digit serial with a "W" Mauser banner implying that would imply a 1939 production date, and military use. The chamber stamp is "42" which would place it between 1939 and 1942.Toggle has been stamped with the Military acceptance mark, as well as a commercial DWM stamp so this pistol was definitely a Mauser rework.it is P.08 stamped. There are about 4 different serials associated with this gun, so as stated before, it is either a Mauser rework, or an American parts gun, either way the value is in the proof marks.
